Creative Breaks for Bosses®
A lot of people say I do things differently. I guess I do.
When I teach or coach, I endeavor to meet you where you are and invite you into a world of creative exploration. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just getting acquainted with your creative side, these workshops are for every skill level. I give you a safe, supportive place to indulge your curiosity and try something new. Also, I expect to challenge you and encourage you to refine your ability to strengthen your creative muscles.
I’m drawing on many years of creative exploration to design these classes and workshops. Some classes will be project-oriented, like Handmade Books and Journals, others will be skills and techniques that that fall into the realm of mixed media, like Gel Printing or Collage. I’ll be rolling out new themes and topics regularly. Oh, and perfection is definitely not on the agenda, so you can relax. All that’s necessary is curiosity, an open mind and the willingness to explore new ideas.

Hand Carved Stamps - The Basics

Would you like to make your own hand carved stamps?
Whether you’ve seen designs that you love but you cannot find in stores, or you want to create original designs, learn how in this fun class. We’ll cover the tools and supplies, then use very simple techniques to carve a few stamps of your own in soft carve medium. A supply list will be sent when you register. Beginners welcome!
Bookmaking Basics
$25
Create your own unique handmade books!
First we’ll cover the basics, then we’ll explore several different book structures, some stitched, some folded. At the end you will have completed several simple books. Then you can pick your favorites and make more to customize and decorate to satisfy your own creative whims!
Supply list will be provided upon registration. All skill levels welcome.
